24th JDC Jury Room Named in Honor of Judge Sullivan
On June 24, 2020, the Jefferson Parish Council passed a resolution authorizing the renaming of the 24th JDC jury assembly room to the “Judge Henry Garland Sullivan Jr. Jury Assembly Room” in honor of Judge Sullivan’s outstanding service and contributions to the citizens of Jefferson Parish.

Mrs. Judy Sullivan was on hand to accept an official proclamation from Council Member Marion Edwards, and many of our judges joined her for a photo after. Special thanks go out to Clerk of Court Jon Gegenheimer, Council Member Edwards, and Parish President Cynthia Lee Sheng for working closely with the JBA Board to make this happen. The JBA plans to host a memorial event and formally dedicate the room as soon as we are able to assemble again as a group.
