The object and purpose of the Jefferson Bar Association is to assist and serve its members in the practice of law, promote the administration of justice, uphold the honor of the courts and the legal profession, promote the professional competency of attorneys through continuing legal education, increase public understanding of and respect for the law and encourage collegiality among its members.

High School Mock Trial

2019 Region 4 High School Mock Trial Competition
The Jefferson Bar Association coordinates the Region 4 High School Mock Trial Competition. Region 4 encompasses the parishes of JeffersonOrleansPlaqueminesSt. BernardSt. CharlesSt. JamesSt. John the Baptist, and St. Tammany.
 
The 2019 Region 4 Competition is Saturday February 16, 2019 at the 24th Judicial District Courthouse in Gretna, Louisiana. More information to come. The State High School Mock Trial Competition is set for March 30, 2019 in Lafayette.
