JBAA & JBA Fall Cocktail Party Recap

The energy was high and the glasses were clinking as more than 100 guests gathered at Dr. Bradley Bartholomew’s home, 301 Northline, on November 14 for the JBAA & JBA Cocktail Party! The evening was the perfect blend of great company, delicious flavors, and plenty of laughter.

The JBA outdid themselves by providing a wonderful bar stocked with crowd-pleasing cocktails and red and white wine. There was something for everyone to toast the night with as the new JBA 2026 officers were elected!

Guests enjoyed an impressive spread of yummy food provided by JBAA, featuring a mix of savory snacks and sweet treats that kept everyone coming back for seconds.

More than anything, the event was filled with warm conversations and the joy of reconnecting with familiar faces. The lively atmosphere carried through the evening as folks mingled, snacked and sipped.

A huge thank-you to everyone who attended—and an extra special shoutout to the host, Bradley Bartholomew, for opening his home for this event!

24th JDC Jury Room Named in Honor of Judge Sullivan

On June 24, 2020, the Jefferson Parish Council passed a resolution authorizing the renaming of the 24th JDC jury assembly room to the “Judge Henry Garland Sullivan Jr. Jury Assembly Room” in honor of Judge Sullivan's outstanding service and contributions to the citizens of Jefferson Parish.

Mrs. Judy Sullivan was on hand to accept an official proclamation from Council Member Marion Edwards, and many of our judges joined her for a photo after. Special thanks go out to Clerk of Court Jon Gegenheimer, Council Member Edwards, and Parish President Cynthia Lee Sheng for working closely with the JBA Board to make this happen. The JBA plans to host a memorial event and formally dedicate the room as soon as we are able to assemble again as a group.
