Jefferson Bar Association

The object and purpose of the Jefferson Bar Association is to assist and serve its members in the practice of law, promote the administration of justice, uphold the honor of the courts and the legal profession, promote the professional competency of attorneys through continuing legal education, increase public understanding of and respect for the law and encourage collegiality among its members.

High School Mock Trial

Region 4 High School Mock Trial Competition
Region 4 encompasses the parishes of Jefferson, Orleans, Plaquemines, St. Bernard, St. Charles, St. James, St. John the Baptist, and St. Tammany.
Congratulations to the 2017 Region 4 Champion, Louise S. McGehee School, and the Runner Up, Jesuit High School of New Orleans. Best Attorney: John Schmidt and Sadie Thomas (tie). Best Witness: Brad del Rio and Justin Chambers (tie). 
2018 Region 4 High School Mock Trial Competition
The Region 4 Competition is expected to take place on a Saturday in February 2018 at the 24th Judicial District Courthouse in Gretna, Louisiana (venue pending). More information to come.
